Farclose terms of use
Agreement and eligibility
By using Farclose you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Farclose is for two adults in a relationship; each person has their own account.
The service
Farclose gives a couple a daily question, mood check-ins, games, date ideas, shared lists and plans. We may change, add or remove features. The app needs an internet connection for most features.
Your content and your partner
You own what you write and upload. You give us a limited licence to store it, process it and show it to your partner so the app can work, and to delete it when you ask. Farclose reveals your answer to your partner only after you have both answered. You are responsible for what you share with your partner, including photos and voice answers, and for having the right to share them.
Acceptable use
Farclose is for private use between partners. Do not use it to:
- harass, threaten, pressure, stalk or monitor another person, or send content meant to hurt them;
- upload content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving anyone under 18, or that you do not have the right to share;
- pretend to be someone else, or join someone's couple without their consent;
- break, scrape, overload or reverse engineer the service, or get around limits such as nudge limits and invite-code limits;
- use it for commercial purposes or share your account.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. If you are in danger or an emergency, contact local emergency services. Farclose is not therapy, counselling or relationship advice.
Subscriptions (Farclose Premium)
- What you get: Premium unlocks the extra features listed in the app. One subscription covers both partners in the couple. The daily question and your partner's answer are never behind the paywall.
- Plans and prices: yearly, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, and monthly. US prices are shown in the app before you buy ($39.99 per year and $6.99 per month at launch; prices may differ by country and change over time with notice).
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. After a free trial you are charged the yearly price when the trial ends unless you cancel before it ends. Payment is charged to your Google Play account (or Apple ID on iOS).
- Cancel: in Google Play (Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or this link) or in your Apple ID subscriptions. In the app: Settings → Manage subscription. Cancelling stops renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app or your Farclose data does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds: payments are handled by Google Play or Apple, so refund requests go to them under their policies. We cannot refund purchases made through the stores ourselves. Write to us if something went wrong and we will help where we can.
- Shared Premium: if the partner who pays cancels or unlinks, Premium for the couple ends when that subscription ends, unless the other partner has their own active subscription.
Local events and third parties
"This week in {city}" shows event information from Ticketmaster and from suggestions we generate with Google's Gemini model using public web search. It can be wrong, out of date or cancelled. Check with the organiser before you go. We do not sell tickets and are not responsible for any event.
Disclaimers
Farclose is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free or that it will improve any relationship.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, Prax is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost data or profits, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending
You can stop using Farclose and delete your data at any time (how). We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect others. Sections that by nature should survive (for example content licence to delete, disclaimers, liability) survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Istanbul. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection or right to sue in your local courts that the law of your country of residence gives you.
