Delete your Farclose account and data
You can delete your account and data yourself, inside the app, in under a minute.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Farclose and tap the gear icon at the top of the Today screen to open Settings.
- Scroll to the Account section at the bottom and tap Delete my data.
- Read the notice and tap Delete everything.
Optional first: Settings → Privacy → Download my data saves a file with everything you wrote.
A subscription is not cancelled by deleting your data. Cancel it first in Google Play (Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or the App Store, otherwise the store may keep billing you.
By email (if you cannot open the app)
Email praxappssupport@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Farclose data". Tell us your nickname, your platform and roughly when you started. Farclose does not store your email address, so we cannot look you up by it, and we may ask you for details only the account holder would know before we delete anything. We reply within 30 days. If you reinstalled, signed in with Apple or Google and can open the app, the in-app path is quicker and certain.
What is deleted
When you confirm, the server deletes, immediately:
- your profile: nickname, avatar and avatar photo, language, time zone, reminder and notification settings, chosen city, push tokens;
- everything you created: answers, moods and notes, nudges, check-ins, game answers and reactions, replies, doodles and notes to your partner, photos (including the stored image files) and voice answers (including the stored audio), questions you wrote, topic mutes and bookmarks, and the bucket-list items, countdowns and date proposals you added;
- the shared sapling and its diary, when you were in a couple;
- your Sign in with Apple / Google link (and Apple's access is revoked when that is configured), and any move-to-a-new-phone code;
- your notification log and scheduled notifications;
- your subscription record on our server for your account;
- on your phone: the sign-in token, cached data and widgets are cleared.
Your partner is not notified. Your answers and content disappear from their history. Their own content stays with them. If you were the last person in the couple, the couple is deleted as well.
What is kept, and for how long

We do not keep anything else, and we do not use deleted data for any purpose.
Want to keep the account but remove your content from the couple?
Settings → Account → Unlink quietly deletes your answers, moods, notes, photos and the shared items you created from the couple, rotates the invite code and does not notify your partner. Your profile stays.
