Yarnlight terms of use
Agreement
By using Yarnlight you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The app
Yarnlight helps you count rows, keep projects, patterns and a stash for knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, cross-stitch and quilting. The counter is free. Free limits only stop you from creating more projects or pattern files; they never lock or remove what you have already entered, and backup and export are always free. We may change features over time.
Your content
Everything you enter stays on your device. You own it. You are responsible for keeping backups: if you lose your phone or uninstall the app without a backup, we cannot recover your data because we never have it. Pattern files you import may be protected by their designers' copyright; use them only as their licences allow.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to reverse engineer, copy or interfere with it or its subscription checks.
Subscriptions
- What you get: Yarnlight Pro unlocks unlimited projects and pattern files and the other Pro features described in the app.
- Plans: a yearly plan ($14.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers) and a monthly plan ($2.99 per month). Prices shown in the app, from the store, are the ones that apply to you; they may differ by country and can change with notice from the store.
- Free trial and renewal: the trial is free for 7 days. When it ends you are charged the yearly price, unless you cancel before the trial ends. Subscriptions then renew automatically each period until cancelled. Payment is charged to your Google Play account (or Apple ID on iOS).
- Cancel: in Google Play (Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or this link) or in your Apple ID subscriptions. Cancelling stops renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds: payments are handled by Google Play or Apple, so refund requests go to them under their policies. We cannot refund store purchases ourselves.
- Reminder: if you turn notifications on, the app reminds you 2 days before a free trial ends.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties, to the extent the law allows. Calculators and converters (gauge, yardage, size and US/UK term helpers) are aids; check results against your pattern before cutting or buying materials.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, Prax is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Istanbul. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection or right to sue in your local courts that the law of your country of residence gives you.
